This tour has you turning north at Kingman Arizona to make a stop at Hoover Dam. You’ll find plenty of old hotels, filling stations, and other signs of an earlier time when Route 66 was the main road from Chicago to Los Angeles California. The third day of this tour takes you out of Flagstaff and onto historic Route 66. Then head back down the same twisty entrance road and on to Flagstaff to end the day. The North Rim visitors center features a historic lodge and amenities with plenty of walking trails to explore.
